Counselling can help
Hello, I’m Anita
I am a counsellor and psychotherapist based in Kilcoleman, North Tipperary, Ireland. I am delighted to welcome clients to my newly renovated private office in Burgess GAA Club, just five minutes outside Nenagh in a beautiful rural setting. I am also available to conduct sessions online for clients across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
I am dedicated to creating a warm, comfortable space where you can explore thoughts, feelings and patterns that may no longer serve you. I combine evidence-based approaches with a compassionate, collaborative style to help you make sense of, and cope better with life’s challenges.
Sessions are tailored to your needs, follow your pace, and are grounded in respect, confidentiality and empathy.
What can I help you with?
I aim to help create a space where you can explore your mental well-being freely without feeling any judgment or fear.
I work with clients who experience:
Anxiety
Stress
Burnout
Low Mood/Depression
Sense of loss of direction
Grief
Menopause/ Mid life issues
ADHD diagnosis (self diagnosed or formal)
Relationship breakdown
Parenting issues
Sex and Sexuality issues
I have a particular interest in identity exploration in women and men as they approach mid-life.
Burnout, work stress, raising families, infertility, relationship issues etc. can leave us lost and wondering where the younger version of ourselves has gone. We also may find ourselves unhappy with how our lives have turned out in comparison to how we pictured it going.
Therapy can help heal old wounds and change patterns of behaviour and thinking that hold you back. It can also help you gain acceptance and insight and move forward to a better quality of life with direction and purpose.
